IMPORTANT NOTE
Indian Nationals travelling to Bhutan need a 6 Month VALID PASSPORT or ORIGINAL VOTER/ELECTION CARD. The passport must be valid for more than six months from the intended date of departure from the Kingdom. The election card must be original and updated on the ECI portal of India.

Children below 18 years without the Passport need an ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE [in English, computerized format] issued by the office of the Government of India.

Aadhar Card, Driving Licence and PAN card are NOT accepted by the Bhutan Immigration as the valid documents to enter Bhutan.

Failure to produce the above documents will lead to denial by the Bhutan Immigration to enter Bhutan.

Day 1: Bagdogra (IXB) – Phuentsholing

Arrival at Bagdogra Airport and drive to Phuentsholing, the gateway to Bhutan. Check in to the hotel and relax after the scenic journey. Enjoy a peaceful evening in this lively border town. Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.

Day 2; Phuentsholing – Thimphu

After breakfast, complete Bhutan permit formalities and proceed to Thimphu via Gedu and Chukha Dam. En route visit Kharbandi Gompa, Wankha Waterfalls, and Chojum river confluence. Reach Thimphu, check in, and relax overnight.

Day 3: Punakha & Dochula Pass Excursion

Enjoy a full-day excursion to Punakha via the scenic Dochula Pass, offering panoramic Himalayan views. Visit Buddha Dordenma, Punakha Dzong, and the suspension bridge. After sightseeing, return to Thimphu for overnight stay.

Day 4: Thimphu Sightseeing – Paro Transfer

Explore Thimphu attractions including Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Statue), National Memorial Chorten, Folk Heritage Museum, Changangkha Monastery, Sangaygang View Point, and Takin Preserve Centre. Later, drive to Paro and check in for overnight stay.

Day 5: Paro Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, visit Nya-mey Zam Bridge, Dungtse Lhakhang, Tamchog Lhakhang, Rinpung Dzong, and Ta Dzong (National Museum). Enjoy a relaxed evening in Paro valley. Overnight stay at Paro hotel.

Day 6: Paro – Phuentsholing – Jaldapara

Drive from Paro to Phuentsholing and exit Bhutan. Continue to Jaldapara National Park and enjoy an exciting afternoon jeep safari. Experience wildlife amidst lush greenery. Dinner and overnight stay at Jaldapara.

Day 7: Jaldapara – Bagdogra Airport

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Bagdogra Airport for departure, concluding your Bhutan journey with calm minds and beautiful Himalayan memories.
